We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher to support elementary students in Westfield, Indiana. This full-time position is ideal for an educator passionate about individualized instruction, inclusive practices, and helping students reach their full potential.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized instruction to elementary students based on IEP goals
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, and families
- Adapt curriculum and instructional materials to meet diverse learning needs
- Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and school initiatives
- Foster a positive, safe, and supportive learning environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field (Master’s preferred)
- Valid Indiana Special Education teaching license or eligibility
- Experience with elementary-aged students preferred
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
- Commitment to inclusivity and student-centered instruction
- Full-time, Monday–Friday
- Pay: $43–$52 per hour, based on experience and credentials
