What are the responsibilities and job description for the Automotive Technician position at America's Car-Mart?
You will be doing General Automotive Repairs on our vehicles to make sure they are safe and dependable before they are put on our lots. This is a full time position 40 hours a week - Monday through Friday, no weekends. A full range of benefits: health insurance, paid time off, paid holidays and a 401K program. Hourly wage based on experience plus a bonus program.
Compensation: $16-$23 per hour depending on experience
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Be a self starter who has knowledge of all aspects of automotive repair.
- Be able to remove and replace engine, steering, suspension and brake components and other repairs as needed.
- Be able to comprehend and use manufacturers wiring diagrams.
- Have their own tools
- Have 2 or more years experience working as an Automotive Mechanic
- And or have a degree in Automotive Technology.
