Summary
America’s Car-Mart is one of the largest publicly held automotive retailers in the U.S. Recently growing to over 150 locations nationwide, we are currently looking to grow our team of Assistant Manager.
A dedicated training program will teach you all aspects of running a dealership in only 90 days! At the end of the 90-day training program, you will transition into an Assistant Manager role and be required to relocate. It is possible to progress into a General Manager role depending on prior experience and performance as an Assistant Manager.
* Relocation is necessary after a 90 Day Training Program. Relocation is paid for by the company

Qualifications
- Self-starter mentality and ambitious in nature
- Excellent communications skills
- Prior manager experience
- Ability to solve problems and implement innovative solutions in a variety of situations
- Computer proficiency and strong mathematical skills
- Ability to prioritize and effectively multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of and interest in automobiles, a plus.
- Available to work flexible hours and weekends including overtime as needed
- Clean driving record and valid drivers license
- Management Experience
Manager in Training Responsibilities
- As a Manager in Training you will:
- Receive training and performs duties in several departments such as office, service, collections, sales, and inventory management.
- Learn lot level staff functions, operations, management viewpoints, and company policies and practices that affect each phase of business.
- Set and monitor performance goals with upper management. Attends company-sponsored training classes.
- Work next to Associates to acquire knowledge of methods, procedures, and standards required for the performance of departmental duties.
- Receive training in functions and operations of related departments to facilitate subsequent transferability between departments and to provide greater promotional opportunities.
- Ensure the quality of every customer service experience meets and/or exceeds Company standards. Positively respond to customer's complaints or inquiries.
- After initial training, you can be asked to assume management accountability within operational functions or entire lots to demonstrate mastery of the technical and soft skills connected with management positions.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by your direct manager.
- Follow company policies and procedures and support company mission, vision, values, and standards of ethics.
