Salary Range: $50,600.00 - $65,000.00 Salary/year
Description
American Academy (AA) is accepting applications for Elementary Teachers of all experience levels for the 2024-2025 school year. AA teachers work in teams, planning together and working together to ensure that every student in each grade receives the same great educational experience. Homeroom teachers generally teach all subjects (some grades switch for science and history).
Responsibilities:
- Adhere to the mission and philosophy of American Academy with enthusiasm, commitment, and integrity.
- Teach American Academy's curriculum with fidelity.
- Uphold and model American Academy’s Manners and Character program.
- Work as a positive member of the grade level team to provide an exceptional education.
- Meet each child’s academic needs through data-driven instruction.
- Develop and maintain a positive partnership with parents through frequent communication of progress and concerns.
- Maintain positive relationships with co-workers, students, and administration.
- Timely upkeep of records including grades and assignments in Infinite Campus and updates on webpage.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Elementary Education
- Elementary Education teaching license

- Step-up-to-Writing and 6 1 Trait
- Next Generation Science Standards/HMH Science Dimensions
- Use of assessment data to drive instruction
- Integration of technology into lessons
