What are the responsibilities and job description for the Order Processor position at American Associated Pharmacies (AAP)?
Founded in 1987, Associated Pharmacies, Inc. (API, now a subsidiary of AAP) is a member-owned buying cooperative with a distribution warehouse. API also designs and implements services for its members needed to run a successful business.
Position: Part-Time Order Processor
Part-time Schedule: Monday – Friday, 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Order Processor Contributions to API
Order Processors are responsible for getting orders pulled, packed, and shipped to our valued customers daily, a very important job here at API. Our pharmacies depend on us to provide exceptional services so they can do the same for their patients.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):
- Pull, check, pack, and ship products based on customer orders
- Stock products received in the warehouse
- Participate in physical inventory
- Keep the working area and warehouse clean and hazard-free
- Perform customer service duties as related to the department
Physical Demands While Performing the Duties of this Job:
- Regularly required to stand or walk
- Regularly required to use arms, hands, and fingers
- Regularly required to reach with hands and arms
- Regularly required to climb or balance, bend or stoop
- Regularly required to lift up to 40 pounds
- Occasionally required to lift up to 60 pounds
Other Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be able to pass required criminal background check and drug test
