The American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT) is seeking a dedicated full-time Member Services Specialist. This role focuses on delivering outstanding customer service to both current and prospective members, ensuring accurate and timely responses to inquiries about AAMFT programs, products, events, and services. The Specialist resolves each interaction promptly, fostering strong member and customer satisfaction and loyalty. Key responsibilities include multitasking effectively, working independently, and maintaining professional communication skills. Applicants must reside in DC, MD, VA, DE, PA, NC, SC, GA, IL ONLY.
Reporting directly to the Member Services Manager, the Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting membership engagement, recruitment, and retention efforts. Essential responsibilities include adhering to AAMFT Core Values, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures in all communications, and proactively engaging in outreach initiatives to enhance membership engagement.
Key Responsibilities :
- Uphold AAMFT Core Values in all interactions.
- Provide prompt, accurate, and thorough responses to inquiries.
- Maintain respectful and professional communication with members and customers.
- Craft well-written customer service correspondence, including messages focused on retention and recruitment.
- Identify and propose solutions to system issues affecting departmental operations.
- Engage in proactive outreach for membership retention, recruitment, and engagement.
- Ensure accurate data entry and integrity in the iMIS database.
- Direct inquiries to appropriate AAMFT staff members as needed.
- Maintain adequate departmental coverage during office hours.
- Undertake additional tasks and projects as assigned.
