Valencia College’s School of Nursing is now seeking a dynamic and collaborative leader to serve as the Associate Dean, AS Nursing. For more than 50 years, our Valencia has proudly pioneered new ways to make secondary education accessible while adopting innovative solutions to learning.

The Associate Dean of AS Nursing supports overall academic quality and student success across the Associate in Science (AS) nursing program. Responsibilities include managing daily operations, overseeing the full curriculum, and supervising didactic and laboratory courses. The Associate Dean leads faculty mentoring, assists with hiring and scheduling, and addresses instructional issues. This role also ensures compliance with accreditation standards and fosters partnerships with healthcare and educational institutions to support student learning and long-term success. Position Requirements

• A Master’s degree or higher from a regionally accredited institution with a major in Nursing and maintain expertise in area of responsibility.
• Must have current, active, and unencumbered licensure, or eligibility for licensure, in the State of Florida as a registered nurse or nurse practitioner.
• Four (4) years of progressively responsible experience in higher education leadership or academic administration or related experience based on the essential job functions.

• Salary Range: $111,762-$ 142,496 per year
