Qualified Candidates will possess some or all of the following skills:
- Has basic to intermediate computer skills. Must be able to access and navigate plant operating system, electronic drawing library, and CNC program download library.
- Can demonstrate precision measurement experience. Calipers, OD/ID/depth micrometers, indicators, etc...
- Forklift and overhead crane experience. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Adheres to all plant Safety and attendance initiatives.
The right candidate will utilize AAM's 12 CNC mills, 4 CNC lathes, wire EDM, and 3D scanning technology to manufacture the tooling required to make over 18M steel automotive parts per year.
This will be a 3rd shift position after training.
Required Skills and Education
