POSITION SUMMARY
The EPS (Engineering Production Services) Specialist handles all tasks presented by the Project Managers including scrubbing and uploading (BOM's) Bills of Material and project documentation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

- Create and process product change notices (PCN) and product release notices (PRN)
- Create, release, and update manufacturing work instructions, per instructions from Manufacturing Engineers
- Prepare and load customer BOMs into Checkpoint database and Manfact ERP system
- Maintain build-to-print file directories for customer products, archiving older revisions while keeping the latest revision available for manufacturing use
- Perform BOM scrubbing for quoting team and initiate quoting labor sheets
- Provide technical guidance to junior EPS Administrators
- Coordinate work within the EPS group, assigning tasks and enforcing priorities as determined by the Materials Manager
SPECIFIC EDUCATIONAL / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

- Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from 2-year college or technical school; 4-6 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education & experience
- Background in manufacturing processes and production flow is preferred
JOB SKILLS
- Must have the ability to effectively prioritize
- Must be able to perform data entry tasks with minimal errors
- Must have strong oral and written communication skills as well as the ability to speak effectively before groups of customers.
- Must be able to use computer software packages such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Access. Must be able to use email for communication and data transfer
- Technical writing skills pertaining to the manufacturing environment is beneficial
- Must have excellent organizational skills as well as being detailed oriented and able to effectively prioritize and complete a high quantity of daily tasks
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
