Performs daily tasks with close supervision – assigned supportive tasks to production or plant operations. |
Education and Experience: |
Education - High School diploma or equivalent.
Experience - Ability to read drawings and blueprints.

Job Description: |
Essential Duties - Performs painter prep duties including grinding and sandblasting large structural steel (using a sandblaster that pushes 25 pounds of pressure with transients to 50 pounds).
- Performs cleaning, floor sweeping, stocking, material handling, simple maintenance, deliveries, pick-ups, cutting of grass as assigned.
- Helps in all production areas as assigned.
- Performs simple production tasks with supervision.
- Performs maintenance tasks with supervision.
- Operates cranes, forklifts, and other material handling equipment.
- Performs rigging tasks to prepare material heavier than 50 pounds for transport using overhead cranes.
- Other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands: |
Physical Effort - Ability to climb access and extension ladders.
- Ability to lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work comfortably and safely at varying heights.
- Ability to work a minimum of full-time hours; overtime required based on Manufacturing Plant schedule.
- Hand/eye coordination
- Occasionally required to stand; walk; use hands to touch; reach with hands and arms; grasp with fingers.
- Specific vision abilities required include close and peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment - Ability to work near moving mechanical parts and in precarious places.
- Occasionally exposed to wet humid conditions, fumes, airborne particles, and vibration
