What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dining Manager position at American Dining Creations?

Pay: - Pay varies by location


Responsibilities:

  • Manage the cafés daily meal service, events and operations related to finance and catering.
  • Oversee Catering with meetings, corporate events, and dining services.
  • Provide strategic leadership; hire, train, and develop staff, manage work schedules, create, and retain a cohesive team of associates.
  • Responsible for P&L (profit & loss) by preparing policies and standard operating procedures.
  • Maintain café satisfaction by monitoring, evaluating, and auditing food, beverage, and service offerings; initiate improvements as needed.
  • Conserve safe, secure, and healthy facility environments by enforcing sanitation standards and procedures.
  • May assist with special corporate projects or events.
  • May be assigned other duties and responsibilities as needed.


Qualifications:

  • Superior customer service skills and daily interactions with our customers and clients.
  • Have a strong understanding of employee and client relations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in culinary, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 6 years previous experience as a General Manager or Food Service Director.
  • Experience in corporate business dining, restaurant, or general food & beverage is preferred.
  • Experience in hotels, corporate dining, education services or large convention facilities is a plus.
