Patient Service Coordinator- Full Time M0FJob DetailsJob LocationNew York, NYPosition TypeFull TimeSalary Range$21.00 - $23.00Job ShiftDayDescriptionAmerican Endovascular is seeking a dynamic medical receptionist to serve as the face of the company as the initial contact with our patients both in person and over the phone, the PSC (Patient Service Coordinator) plays an important role in the overall success of our offices. The position involves, receiving referrals, entering patients into our EMR system (ECW), calling to schedule patients for office visits and procedures, confirming appts, arranging transportation when needed. Checking patients in and out, collecting co-pays answering phones as well as other tasks as needed. Ideal candidate will have ability to multitask, represent the company in a professional and welcoming manner and be able to work as part of a team.QualificationsTwo (2) years of experience in health care setting preferred.Possess a calm, reassuring, competent demeanor and the ability to be sensitive to patient needs and attitude.Ability to multi taskAbility to manage high volume of phone callsBe knowledgeable about company, services and products available.
