Patient Service Coordinator

Bronx Endovascular is seeking a motivated Patient Service Coordinator that care about improving patients' lives. This person must have experience working as a medical receptionist and or front desk clerk, in a healthcare environment. Must have a friendly outgoing personality.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Scheduling, rescheduling and confirming appointments.
• Arrange transportation.
• Professionally handle requests and ensure issues are resolved promptly and thoroughly.
• Communicates clearly, concisely, and positively with patients and clinical staff.
• Obtain necessary referral authorizations for referrals received from other physicians.
• Obtain authorization from insurance plan for referrals to specialists.
• Answer phone calls in a prompt, courteous and efficient manner.
• Check insurance eligibility to confirm correct insurance information.
• Collect copays as needed.

Requirements:

• Authorization experience required.
• Customer service experience required.
• Front desk in a medical environment, required.
• Basic computer skills, required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
