The Payroll Specialist will handle payroll accounting duties of American Family Care, LLC and subsidiary companies. The position is responsible for, but not limited to, maintaining the day-to-day payroll functions and review of payroll filings.

The essential job duties shall include, but not be limited to, the following:
- Assistance in processing and reviewing the processing of payroll
- Monitor and ensure appropriate payroll related approvals and process are followed by employees
- Review employment, unemployment and other payroll tax filings and payments for accuracy
- Respond to employee inquiries related to payroll
- Respond to information requests from management
- Perform other related duties as may be requested by management.
This position will report directly to the payroll manager.
Qualifications:
- Previous payroll experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel)
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
- Highly organized, self-sufficient and detail oriented
- Able to complete tasks accurately and timely with minimal supervision
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to interface well with teammates
- Proven ability to maintain confidentiality
