Responsibilities:
- Wash dishes, flatware, pots, or pans using dishwashers or by hand
- Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in clean and orderly condition
- Place clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment in storage areas
- Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas
- Sweep or scrub floors
Experience:
- Previous experience working as a dishwasher in a restaurant, hotel, or catering setting is preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation and food service procedures is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen
Skills:
- Ability to work well as part of a team and communicate effectively with kitchen staff
- Physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods of time
- Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and utensils
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions
