Warehouse Specialist

Description

BASIC FUNCTION: Responsible for performing all duties related to incoming and outgoing merchandise. Responsible for guidingemployees and acting as a working leader.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Unload/Load trucks using a scan gun···Compare driver’s paperwork to NAVCheck NAV to ensure all has been collected – if not search offloadPost all collections and deliveries

•Confirm all paperwork and pickups via Logistics Dashboard

•Touch Up and reclass merchandise in warehouse

•Lift carry and place product into and take out of racks

•Inspect merchandise for damages or breakage prior to shipment or warehouse storage.

•Record all merchandise discrepancies on appropriate paperwork.

•Complete inventory preparation for warehouse stock.

•Stage merchandise to prepare for shipment as needed.

•Fill customer order in accordance with Pick Tickets, complete appropriate paperwork, and place acopy with the merchandise for shipment.

•Scan all orders and print pre-shipment paperwork as appropriate

•Operate forklift, palette jack and hand trucks.

•Always maintain a neat and orderly workplace

•All warehouse personnel are required to sweep up and remove / dispose of debris.

•Follow safety procedures in accordance with training and report any dangerous conditions tomanagement immediately.

•Perform other related duties as assigned by manager

LEAD RESPONSIBILITES:

•Informally monitor employee performance and provide feedback to management on issues/concerns.

•Provide backup in absence of supervisor.

•Demonstrate expected safe work habits to others – lead by example and demonstrate and follow allsafety practices.

Qualifications

EDUCATION/TRAINING:

Degree: High School Diploma or Equivalent

EXPERIENCE:

Prior warehouse experience helpful.
