What are the responsibilities and job description for the Calibration Technician position at American Gage?
American Gage is a leading calibration laboratory providing calibrations to a wide range of industries. We are currently seeking a Dimensional Technician with experience levels ranging from 2 to 5 years.
Successful candidates will be working with an outstanding team of individuals in our A2LA accredited laboratories.
Position Requirements:
This position requires a good working knowledge of Physical/Dimensional & Mechanical calibrations. You will have experience calibrating calipers, micrometers, indicators, thread plugs, thread rings, cylindrical rings, force gauges, scales and other types of test equipment and standards.
2 or more years of experience in calibration of dimensional measuring equipment. Dimensional repair experience desirable.
Strong and effective verbal and written communication skills required.
Possess and demonstrate an excellent mathematics aptitude as applied to calibration activities.
Professional attitude and appearance required.
Must be a high school graduate or possess a GED.
Experience working under ISO9001, ISO/IEC 17025, and/or ANSI/NCSL Z540.3 management systems desired.
