Location:Los Verdes Golf Club 7000 W Los Verdes Dr, Rancho Palos Verdes, CA. 90275

Pay Rate:$14.00/hr. tips;MUST be 21 or older.

Summary:

• Provide an outstanding customer experience for guests by selling food and beverage products on the course. MUST be 21 or older.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide outstanding customer service when acknowledging and greeting each group of members/guests on the course, providing information on convenience cart services and product availability; take orders and upsell where appropriate; deliver goods; calculate bills and collect payment
• Maintain order on the course by following proper golf etiquette, observing and respecting the flow of the game and operating the cart in a safe manner
• Manage inventory by verifying and restocking supplies as needed, notifying manager of shortages and requesting adequate stock for the following day, obtaining approval for opening and closing inventory on cart, removing perishable items at the end of the day and keeping the cart clean
• Maintain appropriate standards to ensure food safety and sanitation.
• Protect the organization, members and guests by utilizing proper procedures in serving alcoholic beverages (verify legal drinking age and/or discontinue service to intoxicated customers)

Additional Responsibilities:

• Maintain a pleasant atmosphere by communicating professionally with members, guests and co-workers
• Remain up to date on course events and upcoming activities that may affect convenience cart operation

Minimum Qualifications and Skill Requirements:

• Must be 21 or older.
• Must be able to work weekends
• High school diploma preferred
• Valid driver's license required
• The ability to operate the convenience cart in a safe manner, negotiating around other carts and tight spaces is required
• Basic math skills, for example the ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide and calculate quickly
• To perform this job successfully, an individual should be friendly and outgoing
