GENERAL SUMMARY:
This position serves as a central point of contact for internal and external customers of our Plus Mark Christmas division. This position interacts with various departments including Sales, Product Management, Graphics, Global Sourcing, Manufacturing and Distribution.
In this role you will collaborate with our sales & marketing teams and shares responsibility for chain revenue and sales margin results. This position is responsible for recognizing purchasing trends, sales opportunities and assist with the chain proposals to increase revenue and margin.
Our ideal candidate will be comfortable with data, including point of sale and year over year sales histories to analyze and aid in selling the customer on the program proposal.
This position is responsible for all facets of the order processing cycle to ensure customer satisfaction. Follows up on customer performance to forecast, shipment accuracy, and ship date compliance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Sales & POS analysis as well as other business analyses required to secure current and future customer commitments.
* Completion & review of customer quoting process including item set up for the customers private label programs internally as well as on customer portals. This includes a thorough understanding of customer requirements and ensuring the delivered product meets/exceeds customer expectations
* Proof customer specs to ensure accuracy prior to releasing for production
* Assist the Sales Managers in building the customer confidence. This includes providing timely and accurate information, to the customer on current and future programs, assisting in the customer meetings, conference calls and communication back and forth with the customer.
* Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to develop the right marketing plan, program proposals and sales histories to meet the financial goals for revenue and sale margin.
* Manage the order processing cycle and fulfillment of the customer orders through collaboration with our production and distribution facilities.
* Make independent decisions related to production and distribution of their customers product and assist in resolving issues.
* Special projects to analyze and document current processes, research alternatives, investigate possible improvements and implement the best complete process improvement to improve the business.
