Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Works with Sales Directors to review sales results, sales opportunities and operational issues
- Make retail observations and identify opportunities to expand presence in Walmart
- Understand Walmart's category direction and influence strategic category growth
- Help Senior Account Executive prepare for presentations
- Meet or exceed all assigned financial goals.
- Understand and evaluate existing competitor strengths and weaknesses; develop strategic positioning of brands to obtain new business
- Understand Walmart's requirements including but not limited to financial, contractual, distribution, operations and service
- Effectively communicates in both written and verbal formats relevant information to customer and within American Greetings
- Partners with internal departments to execute promotions and product programs.
- Addresses day-to-day account needs such as communications, issue resolution and coordination between functional teams
Experience Required
Required Length & Type of Experience:
- 5 years previous experience in sales, marketing or product management; including proven strategic and proactive account management skills
- Previous experience in a retail or merchandising environment preferred
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Demonstrated success in meeting/exceeding sales goals/forecasts
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting financial and sales-related data; able to make fact based decisions
- Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills
- High level of interpersonal skills; ability to build strong relationships, influence others, leverage networks/relationships
- Good organization and time management skills with excellent attention to detail
- Strong PC skills
- Works with sense of urgency; results oriented and focuses on productivity vs activities
- Consumer centric; anticipates and meets consumer needs and takes appropriate action without being prompted
- Accepts responsibility for own actions

- Innovative; identifies effective, new ways of doing things

Education Required
Bachelor's degree in business, sales, marketing or related-field
