American Health Management, Inc. is excited to announce an amazing opportunity to join our team. We have over 25 years’ experience providing care in Kentucky, and we are the largest provider of adult day health care services in the state. We provide home care services, case management services, and home health services as well. We are continuing to grow after opening three PACE facilities in late 2022. Under the supervision of the Controller, the Accounting Associate will assist the department staff by completing the responsibilities listed below, and will be based at our corporate office in Richmond, KY.
Position Responsibilities:
- Performs basic accounting functions as needed for American Health Management.
- Assisting with credit card data entry and monthly reconciliations of credit card statements.
- Accounts Payables (entering bills and processing weekly check runs)
- Makes general ledger entries as needed.
- Process invoices received from subcontractors by comparing to timekeeping/billing software.
- Adjusting timekeeping/billing software for rounding rules.
- Helps maintain and strengthen our relationships with vendor partnerships.
- Protects privacy and maintains confidentiality of all company procedures, results and information about employees, participants, and families.
- Maintains safe working environment. Follows American Health Management Safety Policies and Procedures.
- Participates in and supports Quality Improvement initiatives.
- Participates in continuing education classes and any required staff and training meetings.
- Responsibilities may be adjusted as deemed necessary to allow the accounting department to meet reporting deadlines and other requirements.
Knowledge & Abilities:
- Supports the Mission, Values, and Vision of American Health Management and adheres to the Corporate Compliance Code of Conduct.
- Is knowledgeable with Microsoft, mainly Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Being organized and detail oriented, allowing the management of multiple priorities to get done accurately and in a timely manner.
- Being personable and communicative.
- Supports and participates in common teamwork.
- Assist supervisor with various tasks to support department operations as directed; may also be assigned special projects.
- Perform tasks which are supportive in nature to essential functions of the job, but which may be altered or re-designed depending on individual circumstances.

Experience & Education:
· High School diploma is required.
· College level classes preferred, especially in accounting.
· Experience in a business office is preferred. · A plus to have some accounting software experience (we use NetSuite).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.50 per hour
