What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time Service Coordinator for Families - 31 hours/week position at American HealthCare Group?
Part-time Social Service Coordinator at 2 locations- Allegheny Commons (28hrs per week) & Andrew Carnegie Apartments (3 hrs per week). Both are considered family or general occupancy affordable housing communities in Carnegie & North Side of Pittsburgh.
Responsibilities include:
- Facilitating access for residents to available services and entitlement benefits,
- Scheduling on-site educational and service programs,
- Working closely with residents to develop activities that meet social, health, and recreational needs,
- Developing a monthly newsletter or calendar of events,
- Organizing and facilitating monthly meetings
You will also need to assist residents with any issues and concerns that they may have such as transportation issues, employment resources, help with their bills, money management, homemaker services, gaining access to community resources and social service agencies.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Must have current Act 33, 34, and 73 Clearances
- Must complete online child abuse reporting
- At least 1 years of social work or related field or equivalent experience
- No criminal record will be considered
