What You’ll Do:
- Deliver exceptional customer service to our residents and families.
- Plan and execute programs based on the Whole Person Wellness Model, incorporating intellectual, social, emotional, vocational, and spiritual experiences.
- Welcome new residents with orientation activities to help them feel at home.
- Use technology, such as an iPad, to enhance resident engagement and share moments on community TVs and social media.
- Schedule and lead weekend activities and assist with events.
- Drive our 14-passenger bus for group outings and personal appointments.
- Create seasonal and holiday decorations to maintain a warm, festive environment.
- Manage our volunteer program and represent American House at community events.
What We’re Looking For:
- A caring and energetic individual who loves working with older adults, especially those with memory care needs.
- Creativity and enthusiasm for planning and organizing activities.
- Tech-savvy and comfortable using software and tools to support activities.
- A valid driver’s license with the ability to drive a 14-passenger bus.
- Availability to work weekends and occasional evenings for special events.
