This is an ideal entry-level position for a college student or recent graduate. It is required that applicants are highly skilled with technology/computers. eCommerce experience helpful, but not required- training is provided. This job focuses primarily on selling pre-owned items on third-party platforms such as eBay, Etsy, etc.
Job Description
Duties include:
- Researching, testing, and posting items for sale online with clear, detailed photos and accurate descriptions
- Communications with online customers
- Packaging and shipping a large variety of items to arrive safely at destinations across the globe
- Using social media to increase online customer base
Skill Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be authorized to work in U.S.
- Organized and punctual, with attention to details
- Ability to work with minimum supervision
- High degree of proficiency in basic computer skills a must: typing, e-mail, Microsoft Office, internet use, etc.
- Proficient in Google & Google Apps, including but not limited to: Gmail, Google Drive, Google Docs & Google Spreadsheets
- Good research/reading and communication skills
- Technical skills related to technology (computer, camera, tablet, smartphone, video game system, audio/visual) are a plus but not necessary
- Customer service experience or sales experience a plus, but will train the right person
- Pass background check
