Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our Class-A luxury Residential Communities through effective maintenance and repair of equipment and systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Duties
- Respond to and complete work orders in resident apartments with efficiency and professionalism.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks on building systems and equipment to reduce breakdowns and extend asset life.
- Assist with unit turnovers.
- Maintain a clean and organized maintenance shop and storage areas.
- Conduct regular building walks to inspect for safety hazards, maintenance needs, and general upkeep.
- Provide on-call maintenance support as scheduled.
Skills
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repair.
- Experience with apartment turnovers.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently and as part of a team, and follow through on assignments.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
