Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Landscape Architect at American Landscaping LLC, located in Anchorage, AK. The Landscape Architect will be responsible for designing and planning outdoor spaces, creating planting plans, and contributing to overall landscaping projects. Daily tasks will include preparing detailed designs, collaborating with team members, conducting site analyses, and ensuring that designs align with client budgets, goals and environmental considerations.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Landscape Planning and Landscape Design
- Proficiency in Landscaping and Landscape Architecture
- Experience in developing and implementing Planting Plans
- Strong visualization and CAD drawing skills
- Knowledge of local plant species and environmental sustainability practices
- Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Architecture, or a related field
- Ability to work effectively in team environments and on-site conditions
- Licensure as a Landscape Architect and familiarity with Alaska's regulations is a plus
