Continuous Improvement Specialist

We are seeking a dynamic and hands-on Continuous Improvement Specialist to assist with streamlining our manufacturing processes. This role requires a forward-thinking professional who can lead efforts in process improvement, ensuring our operations are efficient, cost-effective, and continuously evolving. While furniture production experience is preferred, it is not required. This position involves leadership, organization, and a focus on innovation and operational excellence.

• Analyze current production processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize workflows, reduce waste, and increase productivity.
• Introduce best practices and lean manufacturing techniques to enhance overall efficiency.
• Train and engage team members in process improvement initiatives to foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
• Uphold safety standards and ensure compliance with workplace regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute improvement strategies.

• Proven experience in process improvement in a production environment or a related manufacturing role.
• Demonstrated success in implementing process improvements and optimizing workflows.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with attention to detail.
• Track record of motivating and developing teams.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing or process improvement
• Experience in upholstered furniture is preferred but not required.
• Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., ERP systems, scheduling tools, Microsoft Office Suite).
