Overview

AMA is looking for a Learning Solutions Manager (LSM) for our emerging business who will lead the development of creative, meaningful, and relevant content for delivery of AMA training engagements across various modalities. The LSM will provide market insight, thought leadership and subject matter expertise, enabling AMA to better assess industry trends and respond to customer needs. The LSM will collaborate with the marketing team to develop integrated marketing plans and present at marketing events. The LSM will partner with the Corporate Learning Solutions (CLS) team to engage directly with our B2B customers to develop learning solutions tailored to their needs, including learning journey development, content adaptation, faculty alignment and travel to client sites and attending pilot programs when necessary.  For more information, please refer to www.amanet.org.

Responsibilities

 

  • Client Engagement 
    • Lead overall client engagement
    • Manage projects including, but not limited to, permissions approval, contracts and client sign-off documents
    • Execute participant communication strategies, customer internal marketing and participant measurement tools
    • Efficiently partner with internal and external teams and global partners
    • Manage the deployment across all delivery modalities: In-person, Virtual, and Hybrid.
    • Assist on content related solutions and input for assigned RFP opportunities
  • Portfolio Management 
    • Strategy and Development 
      • Provide content thought-leadership in areas like Diversity & Inclusion (D&I), communication, management, and leadership
      • Assess, monitor, and manage the portfolio strategy from content, quality, marketing and financial perspective to ensure cohesion with overall AMA learning strategy
      • Work with Learning Technologies, Instructional Designers and SMEs to develop and customize content for in-person, virtual, and hybrid deliveries
      • Build or acquire new content for existing and new products and revise products as needed
      • Review evaluations and customer comments to resolve issues
    • Faculty 
      • Assess faculty needs based on changes in market demand, technology improvements, and product evolution
      • Participate in recruiting and interviewing new faculty candidates for AMA.
      • Collaborate with Project Coordinators and Faculty Manager to diagnose and resolve faculty issues or emergencies
    • Marketing and Sales 
      • Collaborate with Corporate Learning Solutions (CLS) team to assist in the acquisition of new and existing clients for new and existing opportunities
      • Work collaboratively with sales teams on products and services and share market and customer information
      • Participate in business development activities including pre-sales meetings and needs analysis with clients and sales team
      • Design learning solution plans such as learning journeys or outlines that align to client’s needs and budgets
      • Provide SMEs and content to support digital marketing events, such as webcasts and webinars
      • Present as a subject matter expert at sales and marketing events

    Qualifications

     

    • BA/BS degree required, advanced degree is preferred
    • Minimum 7 years’ experience project-managing complex learning projects, both classroom and virtual
    • Advanced knowledge of Instructional Design (“ID”), Organizational Development (“OD”) and various learning modalities
    • Experience in content thought leadership, strategy and development
    • Experience in developing and project-managing the creation of learning solutions, for corporate clients
    • AMA-Certified Professional in Management (AMA-CPM) preferred
    • Ability to collaborate with cross functional teams, Marketing and Sales to align and develop integrated marketing and sales strategy around AMA’s products and services
    • Excellent communication skills, including writing and presenting
    • Ability to adapt to changing needs and react quickly
    • Ability to problem-solve and make strategic decisions
    • Strong Business Acumen
    • Well-informed about workplace learning, professional development, and learning technologies
    • Travel in according with business needs
