We are hiring a Quality Assurance Technician in Mt. Pleasant, MI!

Who we are looking for: Candidates that value teamwork and understand the importance of making quality products. We prefer candidates who possess prior quality engineering experience in a manufacturing setting. Candidates must possess a High School Degree and one year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
What you'll be doing: Work with any assigned customer(s) or Suppliers for new model process approval and investigating non-conforming claim issues.
Work with sister plants on parts received or supplied to them.
Investigates & solves problems encountered on assembly lines.
Responsible for inventory adjustments related to quality.
Work closely & communicate effectively with many AMM departments, including Engineers, Maintenance, Production Planning, Purchasing, Manufacturing, etc.
Work closely with Manufacturing Associates regarding quality concerns or problems related to specific job.
Implement special customer and supplier requirements and collect measurement data for special studies, line trials, or PPAP submissions.
Assist in quality training of other Quality Associates. Assist in quality planning where necessary.
Comply with all applicable policies and procedures as required by AMC Corporation's IATF program.
Where you'll work: Our product line requires that our plant be extremely clean and climate-controlled. We are not your "typical" factory. We are located right in Mt. Pleasant, close to everything and near Central Michigan University.
