Credit Analyst

American National Bank of Minnesota is seeking a full-time Credit Analyst for our Alexandria office, located at 512 30th Ave E, Alexandria, MN 56308. There is also an option for this position to sit in our Corporate Office in Brainerd, MN. This is a full-time position. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday, 8:00 A.M – 5:00 P.M.

The position is a centralized Credit Analyst that will work with our 10 Minnesota branch locations, and report directly to the Senior Credit Officer. The position involves assisting branches with credit risk management including detailed real estate and credit analysis, support for all branch locations and Senior Credit Officer as well as prepare loan requests, annual loan reviews, analyze financials, review appraisals, and prepare real estate evaluations. Occasionally this position may need to travel to a branch location for support.

Primary Duties

· Credit Analyst for branches; including but not limited to: spreading financials, financial/credit analysis, preparation of loan requests, loan relationship review, assisting with monitoring credit risk, and assisting with various portfolio management as needed

· Appraisal Reviewer duties include preparing real estate evaluations and reviewing appraisals for various types of real estate properties

· Assist with various Credit Administration functions as needed

Education

A 2-year technical degree/diploma, or Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, or Finance preferred.

Experience

Two or more years’ experience in commercial real estate and appraisal review and/or commercial credit analysis preferred. Strong understanding of financial statement analysis and familiarity with real estate appraisals and evaluations. Proficient computer skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word. This position will also work heavily with financial spreading software, FiServ Premier, and various websites. Must have the ability to prioritize work load, work independently, perform with a high level of accuracy, and timeliness.

Wage

$43,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
