What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Materials Field Testing Technician position at American Pro Staffing?
Work for a diverse engineering firm providing geotechnical, environmental, and construction material testing services and consultation to commercial, industrial, and governmental clients.
The services provided within the Division are performed to the industry's standards, including ASTM, ASIC, and ACI, as well as state laws governing professional services. All services will be performed in accordance with AET's QA/QC procedures.
Essential Functions
· Perform a variety of field test and inspections in Louisville and surrounding areas.
· Perform lab testing of soil, concrete, and asphalt per AET QA Procedures, maintaining high level of quality and safety.
· Document and report your test results, basic experience with MS Excel is valuable.
Requirements:
·Reliability is a must.
·High School Diploma or equivalent. (Associates, Bachelor’s, and Masters Degrees highly valued.)
·The position requires that you be able to perform manual labor, lift over 50 pounds.
·Must have the ability to work outside in the elements, and work long hours.
·Having an active ACI is required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
