What You’ll Be Doing
- Develop business opportunities in the new construction sector
- Read and interpret commercial blueprints, specs, and construction documents
- Perform accurate takeoffs using on-screen software (must be proficient with PlanSwift, Bluebeam, Procore, BuildingConnected, ConstructConnect, and Bid Board)
- Calculate square footage, linear footage, and material quantities with precision
- Prepare and submit estimates for commercial roofing systems and materials
- Collaborate with internal teams and communicate with contractors effectively
- Stay organized while managing multiple bids and timelines
- Minimum 10 years of experience in commercial roofing estimating and plan takeoffs
- Proven track record in business development and client relationship-building
- Proficiency with estimating tools and construction platforms: PlanSwift, Bluebeam, BuildingConnected, Procore, ConstructConnect, Bid Board
- Deep knowledge of commercial roofing systems and materials
- Skilled in blueprint reading, bid preparation, and construction documentation
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PDF editing)
- Detail-oriented, fast learner, deadline-driven, and process-focused
- $5,000 Sign-On Bonus (after 90 days)
