Industrial Seamstress

Job Summary
American Sewing Corporation is seeking a skilled, detail-oriented Seamstress to join our growing production team. We manufacture a variety of sewn products—such as pillows, blankets, and gun holsters—not traditional apparel. The ideal candidate will excel at precise stitching, demonstrate a keen eye for quality, and be able to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate sewing machines and related tools to assemble products (e.g., pillows, blankets, gun holsters) according to specifications.
• Cut, sew, and piece together fabric components to create high-quality final items.
• Inspect finished goods to ensure they meet design standards and quality requirements.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain smooth production flow and meet deadlines.
• Perform routine maintenance on sewing machines and equipment.
• Adhere to all safety protocols in a warehouse setting.
• Assist with inventory management, tracking fabric and material usage.

Qualifications

• Proven sewing experience, ideally in industrial or non-apparel product manufacturing.
• Proficiency operating various sewing machines and related equipment.
• Strong attention to detail, ensuring precision in every stitch.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Excellent time-management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Familiarity with a range of fabrics and materials is a plus.
