Who You Are

As Store Manager, you’ll lead a team of fashion-forward stylists who bring confidence to every fitting room and create personalized, on-brand experiences for every guest. You’ll drive results through hands-on coaching, team development, and a relentless focus on our styling culture.

Sales & Customer Experience

• Own all sales goals and KPIs for your location;
• Conversion Rate: 20–40%
• Units Per Transaction (UPT): 2.0
• Average Dollar Per Sale (ADS): $125
• Customer Information Capture Rate: 90%
• Sales Goals: Based on weekly/monthly traffic patterns and volume.
• Use sales reports to identify trends, guide strategy, and build weekly action plans that drive results
• Lead and model confident, on-brand styling through strong product knowledge, personalized service, and full-look recommendations
• Train and coach team members to deliver occasion-based styling that feels intentional, customer-focused, and aligned with the Threads aesthetic
• Ensure fitting rooms are active, clean, and positioned as the center of the styling experience
• Enforce zoning and service expectations across the floor, including:
• Warm greetings and personalized engagement
• Asking styling-led questions to uncover intent and preferences
• Recommending full looks, accessories, and layering pieces to complete customers needs.
• Drive metric expectations impact through daily coaching and one-on-one feedback

Team Development & Leadership

• Hire, onboard, and retain a high-performing, values-aligned team of 10 employees.
• Act as Manager-on-Duty (MOD) and ensure the team is aligned and productive during each shift
• Lead onboarding and training for all new hires, ensuring alignment with brand standards and customer service expectations including Assistant Store Manager, Inventory Specialist, Senior Fashion Specialist, Lead Stylists and Stylists.
• Manage scheduling, availability, and payroll to meet business needs
• Partner with HR and leadership on employee relations, including injuries, LOAs, or workplace concerns
• Foster a culture of accountability, positivity, and continuous growth

Operations & Visual Standards

• Manage payroll and staffing to support sales performance and budget goals
• Oversee daily operations including opening/closing, cash handling, inventory, and back-of-house management
• Ensure compliance with all company policies and operational standards
• Execute all visual directives with accuracy and creativity
• Ensure inventory is merchandised to reflect seasonal trends, styling capsules, and customer behavior
• Maintain clean, shoppable racks and fitting rooms throughout the day
• Use sales reports to make informed merchandising decisions based on category performance
• Oversee opening and closing procedures, nightly deposits, and register management
• Schedule and lead weekly banking tasks
• Maintain store supply levels and report any equipment or facilities issues promptly
• Monitor and enforce adherence to all company operational policies, including loss prevention and back-of-house procedures
• Ensure bi-monthly inventory cycle counts are completed accurately
• Submit reports and metrics to leadership and attend all required meetings

Scheduling Expectations

• This is a full-time leadership role requiring open availability
• Store Managers are expected to work evenings, weekends, and peak traffic periods
• All full-time employees are required to be available during the company’s Blackout dates:
• January - January 1st.
• March/April - Easter weekend
• May - Memorial Day weekend (Friday - Monday)
• July - 4th of July weekend
• September - Labor Day weekend (Friday - Monday)
• October - Columbus Day weekend (Friday - Monday)
• November - weekend before Thanksgiving through Cyber Monday
• December - December 13th- 31st.

What You’ll Bring (Skills & Experience)

• 3 years of retail management experience in a specialty or trend-driven environment
• Strong understanding of KPIs, conversion, and customer experience strategy
• Proven ability to lead and develop a team through coaching, accountability, and example
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience managing payroll, staffing, and store-level budgets
• Proficiency with POS systems and reporting tools
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities in a fast-paced environment
• A passion for fashion, styling, and helping others feel confident
• Must be 18 years of age or older
