Responsibilities:
- Lead and drive the talent acquisition through recruitment and screening for all positions, identifying best recruitment sources, partnering with local colleges, and setting up and participating in job fairs to build candidate pool.
- Manage the workflow of candidates in Paycom our Applicant Tracking System with the People & Culture team, hiring managers, and candidates, providing timely updates.
- Track recruiting efforts and candidate information for weekly updates to management and HR Metrics report.
- Manage and find cost-effective ways to recruit candidates and develop relationships with community partners and colleges to build candidate pipeline.
- Write and Manage ads/postings internally and externally, update job descriptions and work with HR Team and marketing to promote American Training as a great place to work.
- Takes ownership of the candidate experience to ensure our values, mission, and WOW! Magic culture are consistently communicated during the hiring process.
- Screens, interviews applicants, and selects qualified candidates.
- Schedules interviews, oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
- Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or the People & Culture team during the offer process.
- Creatively communicates to ATI on open job postings and Colleague Referral Program. Creates new Colleague referral campaigns by working with marketing and People & Culture.
- Coordinate advertising and marketing strategies including social media, flyers, local events, etc.
- Coordinates a variety of other HR related programs and or projects and serves on various committees as assigned; stays abreast of new trends and innovations in HR; maintains awareness of federal, state and local regulations and impact of changes on the company.
- Manage internal transfer process, including screening, coordination of interviews with hiring manager, and transfers, etc.
- Partner with marketing to create an employment brand that reflects American Training’s values and WOW! Magic Culture. Create an online presence using social media, careers page, and other websites.
Requirements:
- At least three years’ experience working as a recruiter. Human Services field experience is a plus.
- High School diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
- Effective communications verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong proficiency in utilizing an applicant tracking system. Knowledge of federal, state and local employment laws and regulations regarding recruiting and hiring.
- Strong Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel experience.
- Experience utilizing HRIS systems and Applicant Tracking Systems is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Possess effective communications skills, verbal and written. Be able to relate to people with an approachable, friendly demeanor.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and be flexible with changing business needs in a team environment.
Physical and Environmental Demands:
- Frequent walking and standing
- Ability to lift and/or carry articles such as files, computers, boxes of supplies, etc.
- Ability to drive to different work sites as needed or assigned
- Work environment is fast paced with occasional periods of high stress and a hectic environment
- Occasional to moderate short or changing deadlines, requiring some flexibility in schedule.
