What are the responsibilities and job description for the Veterinary Practice Manager position at American Veterinary Group?
UrgentVet bridges the gap between daytime general practice and emergency/overnight care, offering after-hours care for canine and feline patients without the additional expense of emergency clinic fees. Our 1-doctor practices offer care for common urgent cases, including wound management, ear infections, vomiting/diarrhea, and euthanasia, and each of our paperless clinics is specially designed to deliver efficient care and equipped with cloud-based EMR, digital x-ray, and a full suite of IDEXX in-house lab equipment.
Are you an experienced and highly motivated veterinary technician who is looking to do more with their skills and take on leadership, but you are not ready to give up patient care? UrgentVet is looking for a Practice Manager that is not only wanting to gain skills in veterinary business operations and management but will also be able to share their passion for providing quality veterinary care with their team of assistants and technicians by helping the community’s pets.

This is a full-time position, typically requiring 40-45 hours/week including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Applicants must demonstrate professionalism, dependability, healthy and positive communication skills, and the ability to multi-task in a hands-on environment.
