What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeping position at AmericInn Hotel & Suites Boscobel WI?
Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize designated areas, including but not limited to bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas
- Perform carpet cleaning and floor care tasks as needed
- Provide excellent customer service to guests or clients
- Follow housekeeping management guidelines and procedures
- Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing duties
- Handle and launder linens and towels appropriately
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or damages
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and effective cleaning operations
Requirements:
- Previous experience in housekeeping, hotel, or commercial cleaning preferred
- Knowledge of custodial and floor care practices is a plus
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if necessary
