Housekeeper

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry to join our team. As a Housekeeper/Laundry, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our facility. Your role will involve performing a variety of cleaning tasks and ensuring that our guests have a comfortable and pleasant stay.

Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain guest rooms, common areas, and laundry facilities according to established standards
- Perform general custodial duties such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
- Change bed linens, towels, and other linens as needed
- Restock supplies in guest rooms and common areas
- Ensure that all cleaning equipment and supplies are properly stored and maintained
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines while handling cleaning chemicals
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel
- Assist with laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and ironing clothes and linens
- Collaborate with housekeeping management to ensure efficient operations

Experience:
- Previous experience in custodial or housekeeping roles preferred
- Knowledge of floor care techniques and industrial cleaning equipment is a plus
- Familiarity with hospitality or hotel industry standards is beneficial

Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness standards
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Good communication skills to interact with guests and colleagues
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if required

Bonus: End of Summer Bonus.

Note: This is a paid position. Internship positions must also be compensated according to labor laws.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $8.75 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
