The Client Service Specialist supports high producing advisors. They act as an extension of the advisor's practice, thus requiring excellent client service skills and professionalism. They are involved in the client relationship model, advisor practice support and the client experience. Work as an employee of an independent advisor franchisee with one of the top financial advisory practices of Ameriprise Financial at their Midtown Office located at 825 Juniper Street Atlanta, GA.
  • Assist clients with online experience
  • Responsible for answering phones during regular business hours
  • greeting clients and prospects
  • Connect with clients via email - mail - online secure document sharing
  • Setting client appointments
  • Managing and tracking client service requests
  • Meeting Preparation
  • Plan Client Events
  • Complete compliance requests
  • Business processing including: Scan checks and documents
  • Order office supplies & brochures
  • Provide practice operational assistance
  • managing the advisors appointment calendar
  • scanning documents into paperless office software
  • logging and tracking of mail and checks
  • investment transactions
  • electronic file management/retention
Qualifications:
  • 4 year College Graduate
  • 3 or more years’ experience in the financial industry
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients
  • Effective proven written and oral communication skills. Strong client service orientation.
  • Ability to function in fast-paced environment and maintain operational quality. Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Effectively complete tasks in the most efficient and accurate manner. Ability to be team player. Strong organizational skills and detail oriented.
  • Proficient with standard office equipment. Familiar with standard business hardware and software.
  • Master of common business software including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and Powerpoint
  • Understanding of a financial advisors practice.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality.
  • Demonstrated professionalism.
  • Ability to operate under limited/minimal supervision.
