We’re seeking a Paramedic who will provide exceptional patient care and support EMS field operations when senior management is unavailable. This role ensures smooth operations, compliance, and coordination with external agencies.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care following AmeriPro EMS protocols.
- Supervise field operations and staff in absence of senior management.
- Ensure crews have necessary equipment and resources.
- Act as liaison between field staff and internal departments.
- Prepare reports on incidents and shift activities.
- Make operational decisions for transfers and mutual aid.
- Provide leadership and training for new employees.
- Respond to mass casualty incidents and assume command until relieved.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent qualification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the EMS field preferred
- Kentucky Paramedic license in good standing / current NREMT certification if required by state
- Successful completion of a comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Strong people skills and proven ability to collaborate within a team
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to comprehend and execute verbal and written instructions in English
- Successful completion of a written and practical exam
- Ability to lift, carry, and balance 110 pounds
- Ability to exert on a regular basis 50 pounds of force and at times up to 100 pounds.
- Ability to bend and stoop, ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time
- Possess hand-eye-foot coordination, color recognition, close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus, good manual dexterity
