Job Brief
Plumbing fixture distributor in San Leandro, CA is looking for a warehouse associate to participate in our warehouse operations and activities. The company specialized in manufacturing stainless steel sink. The main duties include storing materials, picking, packing and ship products etc. The goal is to increase efficiency, profitability and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
- Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)
- Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
- Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
- Complete diary logs into the inventory
- Report any discrepancies
- Manage and lead the warehouse team to achieve the goals
- Operate and maintain preventively warehouse vehicles and equipment
- Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
Requirements
- Proven working experience as a warehouse manager
- Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods (Quickbooks, Netsuites, Scanning etc.)
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects
- Current forklift license
- Be able to work from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Hours subject to change due to the requirement
