The ideal candidate will:
- actively support veterinarians and other staff in daily patient and client care.
- be an active listener, paying close attention to details.
- observe the behavior and conditions of animals.
- be able to prep and monitor animals for surgical procedures.
- phlebotomy
- actively demonstrate dependability and importance of work to clients, supervisors, and other employees.
- participate in cross-training and willing to work in all areas of the hospital.
- easily adapt to situations that arise such as emergencies, taking initiative, dealing with high volume on the phone as well as in person.
- Must have 1 years in the veterinary industry
- Knowledge of basic industry tools and equipment
- Experience with proper animal handling and restraint
- Believes in the importance of client education
