What are the responsibilities and job description for the Engineering Administrator position at Amerlux?
The Engineering Administrator is a part of the Engineering Team in a fast-paced and growing global lighting company. The Administrator will play a key role in the operation and function of the department by providing administrative support to all Engineers. This position will be responsible for the coordination and execution of creating part numbers, finished good bill of material as well as change requests. The position requires the ability to work in a deadline driven environment, demonstrate a high level of initiative, utilize strong problem-solving skills and consistently maintain quality assurance.
Job Responsibilities:
· Create part numbers in Oracle.
· Enter Bill of Materials (BOM) in Oracle.
· Maintain up-to-date drawings within shared drive.
· Review daily/weekly reports and complete related tasks.
· Retrieve, coordinate and execute engineering change requests (ECRs).
· Retrieve and coordinate part number and BOM requests from Customer Support and Warranty departments.
· Expected to meet or exceed compliance of all Amerlux Core Values including: Safety, Quality, Productivity/Accountability/Initiative, Teamwork/Communication, Respect/Customer Service/Attitude, Innovation/Problem Solving, Integrity/Honesty, and Attendance/Punctuality.
Other duties as deemed priority and appropriate by the Company and Management.
