The House Supervisor works in collaboration with Nurse Managers to coordinate, supervise and perform operational tasks within specific departments. This person is also responsible for planning, organizing, supervising and evaluating nursing activities of the Med/Surg department. The House Supervisor is a resource who makes leadership decisions when department managers are not present, as well as supervises patient care in Med/Surg, High Obs, OB, ER and Behavioral Health. Work Schedule
- Night shift: 6p- 6a, House Supervisor role the majority of shifts, but may flex to High Obs role as needed in department.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and possesses a current, unrestricted WI RN license.
- BLS & ACLS certifications prior to hire
- Must possess or obtain CALS/TNCC, PALS and NRP certifications within 3 months of hire
- Minimum of 2 years hands-on RN experience in a hospital setting with one year of charge nurse experience
- Progressive Care, High Observation Unit and Emergency Department experience
- Experience with EPIC electronic medical record
