What are the responsibilities and job description for the Rest Area Attendant position at AMG Facilities Maintenance?
PUBLIC AREA ATTENDANT
AMG Facilities Maintenance is looking for a full-time, year-round position in our Public Area Attendant role.
As a Public Area Attendant, you will be responsible for providing excellent guest service and maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of the public areas of the hotel. You will also assist with other cleaning duties as needed. We are looking for a detail-oriented person who loves to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Greet guests and provide a positive experience when working in guest rooms
- Perform routine cleaning and laundry duties as assigned
- Ensure all surfaces are clean, including floors, windows, furniture, and bathrooms
- Maintain cleanliness of common areas including the lobby, public areas, and back of house
- Report any issues with guest rooms to management as needed
- Support guest relations team in case of guest questions or complaints
- Support general cleaning and maintenance efforts across the hotel (i.e., vacuuming, mopping, dusting, etc.)
- Perform other tasks as assigne
Required Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to work alone and communicate with others in a professional manner
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the hotel (i.e., weekends, holidays, evening services) to keep the public areas up and running smoothly
Ability to lift at least 25 lbs. and occasionally up to 50 lbs. with assist
