**RE-POST**FOOD SERVICE HELPER (10 -MONTH)

SALARY: $16.50 per hour

HOURS: 9:00am - 2:00pm (25 hrs/week) -School Days Only

LOCATION: AMHERST HIGH SCHOOL

START DATE: September 2, 2025

DUTIES and QUALIFICATIONS:

• Cashing out students and staff during meal service
• Minor Food Prep ( Preparation of deli sandwiches)
• Train as back up Cook
• Learn Bank deposit procedures
• Assist with caterings
• Use of kitchen equipment such as slicers, food processors, etc.
• Must be able to lift 40 pounds
• Must be able to stand and walk for the duration of the shift
• Must be able to understand, read, write and speak the English language
• Must be a team player.
• Experience is helpful, but not necessary

• Must be fingerprinted through the NYS Department of Education (required for new employees) - fingerprint procedure - attached
• Experience working with elementary students preferred

**Uniform Allowance, Fingerprinting reimbursed after 1 year of employment, paid sick, personal and snow days.**
