What will you do?

• Prepare and cook food to specifications before and during operations while ensuring timely execution
• Measure and portion all food items accurately and comply with portion sizes, quality standards, and department policies
• Utilize kitchen equipment such as knives, slicers, grills, ovens, and steamers to prepare and package products to proper specifications
• Maintain correct food temperatures and storage practices to uphold safety and quality standards
• Perform opening, closing, and side work duties and keep workstation, coolers, and equipment clean, organized, sanitized, and sufficiently stocked while following all health codes and sanitation regulations

More about you

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a back-of-the-house food-service position
• Ability to read and understand recipes and food abbreviations
• Ability to move rapidly and coordinate multiple orders in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math skills; ability to understand, calculate, and follow recipe measurements and proportions
• Weekend and early morning availability is required

Physical requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Standing and walking for entire length of shift
