Interim OR/Treatment Room Nurse Manager Needed in Keosauqua, IA!

The Position

• An Interim OR/Treatment Room Nurse Manager is needed to oversee perioperative and treatment services, including infusion, wound care, and GI procedures.
• Reporting to the Director of Nursing, this leader will oversee a team of approximately 10 FTEs.
• Key responsibilities include daily management of surgical and treatment room operations, rebuilding staff trust, supporting cross-training initiatives, and contributing to the expansion of service lines such as orthopedics.
• The ideal candidate will have prior experience in Critical Access Hospitals, strong emotional intelligence, comprehensive knowledge of perioperative processes from pre-op to post-op, and a track record of supporting service line growth. Must be highly organized, patient-focused, and able to adapt quickly to changing needs. Excellent communication skills are essential.
• Must be available to start within 2-3 weeks of acceptance.
  
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Active Compact or Iowa RN license required.
• Previous nursing leadership experience in perioperative or surgical services, preferably in a Critical Access Hospital setting.
  
  
  

Compensation Details

• Compensation Range: $145,000 to $155,000 annually.
• The final compensation rate will be determined based on experience, education, training, location, internal equity, and budget considerations, in accordance with Fair Market Value evaluation. Additionally, some candidates may be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, depending on the specific role, including but not limited to health insurance coverage and retirement benefits.
