Registered Nurse – Cardiac Catheterization Lab

TEMP TO PERM contract - need to be open to applying for perm Contract Length: 13 week contract - Temp to perm position Start ASAP Locals accepted - no adjusted rate; standard BR applied Dysrhythmia exam required - study guide available in Simplify library Minimum of 2 years (unbroken) Cath Lab experience Minimum of 1 year travel experience Required Certs/Licenses: -- RN, BLS, ACLS Regular Shifts: 10 hour shifts Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday On Call Shifts: Rotating call shifts minimum of 7 on / 7 off Shifts vary but typically run 7AM-5:30PM in Cath Lab with 5:30PM-7AM call (Fridays and weekends are 24 hour call shifts) Unit Specific Details: Bed amount – 2 Cath labs, 1 EP lab, 1 hybrid OR Drips – Cardiac drips Lines/Drains/ Specific devices used – Medtronic heavy for devices and supplies Machines – McKesson and Cupid. Cath -- Impella, balloon pump, penumbra, Volcano, OCT, Phillips X-Ray system, EP - Boston Scientific mapping system, farapulse Oxygen -- Yes Patient population – Adult only Support staff (if applicable) – It is a 4 person / team Lab RN’s & Rad Techs for most cases. May also utilize anesthesia staff for certain procedures.
