What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sub-Acute Nurse (Sub Acute Care RN) position at AMN Healthcare?
Sub-Acute care RN offer more intensive than long-term care, and less intensive than acute care, Subacute Nurses provide goal-oriented treatment for patients with AIDS, brain injuries, and more. As a Subacute Nurse, you’ll treat patients in need of 24-hour supervision, in subacute units of a hospital, or in a long-term care facility. You can treat patients of all ages; however the majority will be elderly. LTC RN’s can work in a variety of settings includes camps, clinics, schools, and ambulatory care centers but typically work at Sub Acute Care or Skilled Nursing Facilities
Education/Requirements:

Education/Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN): 4-Year Education
- Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN): 2-Year Education
- You must earn an ADN or BSN degree and pass the NCLEX to apply for a license as a RN.
- RN ‘s can only work with an active state license.
